Luke Brown

Luke Brown is the Australian Department of Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) Chief Engineer.  In this role he is responsible for the quality of engineering across the organisation.

Luke joined the Royal Australian Air Force in January 1982.  As an Aeronautical Engineer he worked on mostly transport aircraft.  Luke also worked in development of the RAAF Airworthiness framework and in various acquisition engineering and project management roles in Aerospace, Guided Weapons and organisational reform.  After transitioning to the public service in 1999 he has worked on secondment with the UK MoD and the KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport aircraft in Madrid.

Luke has a BEng (Aero) from RMIT, MSc (Aerospace Systems Engineering) from Loughborough University, UK, and Exec MBA (Complex Project Management) from QUT.   He a Fellow of Engineers Australia, CPEng and EngExec.
